INJURY MANAGEMENT AND RETURN TO WORK (RTW) COORDINATION

Proactive management of workplace injuries helps to achieve an early, safe return to work and keeps your claims costs down.

We have extensive experience in injury management and return to work (RTW). Our expert consultants can manage the injury management functions for you on a day-to-day basis through an outsourced solution, provide advice on individual claims or to help you establish injury management procedures.

Depending on the legislative and system requirements of your state, our services can include:

  • Screening and 24/7 triage of claims/incidents to ensure early intervention and appropriate management
  • Injury management advice
  • Establishing and maintaining communication with our corporate client, the injured worker, the doctor, the insurer and other service providers
  • Developing suitable duties plans, RTW plans and management of current medical certificates.

A return-to-work (RTW) coordination is central to effective management of workplace injuries and to achieve a durable, early return to work.

NOTE: In New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland, employers over a certain size are required by law to have a  RTW and/ or rehabilitation coordinator. We can help you to meet your legislative obligations and take a proactive approach to the return to work process. Depending on the requirements of your state's workers compensation law, we can either provide advice and support to your internal RTW coordinator or you can outsource the return to work coordinator role to us and have our experienced health professionals manage the process.
